I'm still trying to figure out who's coming with me, but it looks like Otakon is happening for me this year! I'm super excited, although I am kind of peeved that Otakon and Otakuthon fall back to back this year. >.> I really shouldn't be complaining too much though.

Cosplay plans for Otakon still aren't set in stone, but right now it's looking like the following (in no particular order):

Stuff I'm bringing for sure:
- Twilight Sparkle (Gala version) [MLP:FiM] with ~Hamano--Ayumi as Pinkie Pie
- Madoka (Magical girl version) [Puella Magi Madoka Magica]
- Natsuki [Summer Wars]

Tentatively bringing:
- Presea [Tales of Symphonia] -->Depending on luggage space, although judging on how big Madoka's petticoat is turning out to be, Presea is looking less and less likely.
- Irene [BBC Sherlock] --> Will definitely bring unless I'm unable to finish it.
- Emmy [Professor Layton] --> Will bring if I don't bring Presea.

In other, somewhat related news, I started reading Game of Thrones two-ish weeks ago. I finished the first book and the first season of the TV show. I absolutely loved it along with all of the pain and anguish and FEELINGS it evokes. I started the second today, and while I haven't gotten terribly far, I'm enjoying it. All of that was to say that apparently ~Hamano--Ayumi and I are cray cray enough to want to cosplay from it some time next year. LOL. Neither of us are sure of who we'd want to do yet though. I'm leaning towards Arya or Bran at the moment, but I really don't know yet.
